I don't really watch American Idol. Well, ok fine I do, but depending on my availability and my MOOD. Earlier I just happened to be slouching on the sofa when I chanced upon American Idol, too bad Ramiel (who is a Pinay) lost last week ( so I heard), then this guy named Jason Castro sang "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" This is classic and it has withstand the test of time and rough competence, this song remains here. Never forgotten. But I never expected that a song almost a nursery rhyme will be used as a piece in a singing competition. But oh boy, what a song. It was amazing. The kind which brings you back memory lane with a twist. Very very good. Really like it. It's like an old song we all are familiar of, something we grew up with, but listening to it, the new version, Jason Castro's version to be more specific--- coz I heard the original singer just now who made that version.. that's good also by the way.. but Jason's---amazing. It must be the guitar. lol. :) It must be the guitar. The very cute guitar.

One day at the office, she just started singing that song non-stop. It was only later that I learned that she was actually preparing for her song number in our upcoming Team Building in one of the music bars in malate. Dang! I didn't know. So don't be surprised to know that maybe all of us were singing that song already by the time we get home after work. LSS? Damn right. :)

I have found a site which has a lot of koreanovelas being shown. Infact i am now planning to watch Meteor garden 1 again. Lol. :)

Best of coffee prince

i have just recently signed up to youtube, crunchyroll, dailymotion, oh well, i am a member of veoh since early 2007 because they had that video about the amezcua biodisc. But anyway, the reason why i signed up for youtube, crunchyroll and dailymotion was because they have a lot of videos about coffee prince. I'd say so far that crunchyroll has the nicest and concise of them all although not all eps are uploaded yet, but it is orderly arranged by episodes so you'll know your way around if you want to watch it in order, thanks to oreocookie1169 from crunchyroll who uploaded all 6 eps ( hopefully the remaining 9 eps will be uploaded SOON. lol )

as you can see on my other post, i've included a picture of Eun Chan and Han Kyul kissing, it was actually one of the episodes I liked the most. just one of them. there are other very Kilig scenes i have liked as well, but those are not in youtube or even crunchyroll, as these scenes belong to different episodes. but then I found something on crunchyroll which says "Yoon Eun Hye & Gong Yoo- Coffee Prince- "Let's Get It On", I was actually attracted to the word "let's get it on" because it reminded me of a scene where Han kyul went back to the coffeeshop where Eun Chan was, and that was when Han Kyul decided to give in to his feelings...

Going back to the video I found in crunchyroll, it consists of all the romantic scenes I really like in the series. I am just so glad I've found it. But then the one in crunchyroll, i cannot put here like those vids from youtube so i asked the author of the MV if that same movie is in youtube and maybe i just couldn't find it. Fortunately she replied to me with the link in youtube. Thanks

i am not a koreanovela addict but sometimes i do DVD marathon and would watch the entire series in one sitting! hehe. that is if i really like what I'm watching... the last koreanovela I've watched that i liked so much was coffee prince. in fact, when i noticed that i was on the last ep already, i got sad, and i didn't want it to end anymore. i even dreamed about it the night after i finished watching it.

SUMMARY

• Gong Yoo as Choi Han Kyul (Arthur Choi in the Philippine dub)
• Yoon Eun Hye Go Eun Chan (Andie Go in the Philippine dub)
• Lee Sun Gyun as Choi Han Seong (Errol Choi in the Philippine dub)
• Chae Jung Ahn as Han Yoo Joo (Arlene Han in the Philippine dub)

• Choi Han Kyul, played by Gong Yoo, is the cocky son of a rich family who runs a coffee franchise. He doesn't believe in love and certainly doesn't want to get married despite his family's requests. On the other hand, Go Eun Chan, played by Yoon Eun Hye, is a 24-year old tomboyish female who gets mistaken as a guy quite often. She takes up every job possible - waitress, delivery man, etc - and has the responsibility of taking care of her mother and younger sister. Eun Chan accidentally meets Han Kyul twice, once on a delivery and once during a robbery. During the robbery, Eun Chan's delivery motorcycle ends up being destroyed. Han Kyul, not knowing that Eun Chan is actually a girl, decides to hire Eun Chan as a false "lover" in exchange for money so that he can escape the blind dates arranged by his grandmother. Meanwhile, Han Kyul's cousin, Choi Han Seong, is an established music producer and his ex-girlfriend Han Yoo Joo, who Han Kyul secretly loved for nine years, is a famous artist who studied in New York. The two were lovers for about 8 years but their relationship ended when Yoo Joo broke up with Han Seong. Two years after they separated their paths cross again when Yoo Joo returned to Seoul.

• After getting an ultimatum from his grandmother, Han Kyul takes over their newly bought coffee shop, which was later named Coffee Prince, to prove his ability, both to his grandmother and Yoo Joo. In order to attract female customers, he only hires good looking male employees. In a struggle with money, Eun Chan, whom Han Kyul has already mistaken as a boy, hides her gender identity to get a job at Coffee Prince. Soon the feelings start to spark between Eun Chan and Han Kyul. Despite not knowing Eun Chan was a girl, Han Kyul starts to question his sexuality and decided to see a psychiatrist.

this picture above was the part episode when Han kyul decided to "go for it". he drove back to the coffee shop, he knew that Eun Chan was still there. then he kissed her, then Eun Chan kissed back, that was the one of the scenes that i liked the most ...when Han kyul stopped resisting his feelings for eun chan. imagine, he did that even after thingking that Eun Chan was also a guy. that is A LOT
for a guy to do. and it takes so much courage to face up to the fact that he is falling in love with someone of the same sex.. lucky him Eun Chan is really a girl. haha. i kept thinking of this even after a few days after watching it, especially the night right after.. i told my friend Erin about it, hehe. i asked her where can we find a guy like him in this world? hehe. i am not even sure if a guy like him exists... or is it only on TV?
